Parsun Locking handle assembly, top cowling

This molded locking handle assembly is the hand-operated lever used to latch and release the top cowling on Parsun F9.9/F15 outboard motors.

Mounted on the side of the bottom cowling, it works with the spring and pivot bushings to keep the engine cover secured while still allowing quick access for service.
